23 week Belly shot

I was finally able to get a couple belly shots of Ash.  I think she looks amazing for 23 weeks.

We had such an amazing couple of days with J&T.  They are so thoughtful, they brought cute little gifts for Emma and my granddaughter Marley and without knowing I have a cook book obsession (it's an addiction really) they brought Ash and I (OK, it's mine, I claim it, I cook, I love it) the new Jamie Oliver cookbook.  We spent the first night just relaxing, going over the birth plan, making lists, talking about logistics and what have you for the big day.
The next day was a whirl wind of activity.  We started with the anatomical ultrasound and to watch them as they saw baby TJ for the first time was amazing.  The US tech was so great, she had them each push on Ash's belly and basically interact with TJ, they were amazed.  They have decided not to find out the sex of the baby and let me tell you, it's going to be a hard hard next few months because I WANT TO KNOW!!!  I don't think I could keep from slipping though so I'm just going to sew things in neutral colors.
After the US we met with Ash's midwife and the boys seemed to hit it off with her.  We went to lunch and shopped a bit and took a drive up our canyon so they could take some pictures and then off to the hospital to meet a pediatrician and have the grand tour of labor and delivery.  It was seriously the grand tour, we were fortunate enough to get to meet everyone that will need to be involved with this birth from the labor room nursing staff, admissions, social workers and the birth certificate registrar to the head of pediatrics.  They are all prepared and excited about this birth.  J & T will be given a private room to share with the baby near the nursery and Ash will have a separate room outside of the post partum area.  After the hospital tour we picked up Emma and headed to Babies R Us for a quick peek at necessities and talked about everything they might need while they are here and what they can live without until they are all back home in the UK.
After Babies R Us we met with the Doula that helped Ash labor with Emma and we're so happy that she's available to help with this birth.  I don't know if Ash would have gone natural with Emma if our doula wasn't there to help her with the back labor pain.  It seems as though this baby is sitting in the same position as Emma so she could be in for the same kind of back labor.  Luckily the hospital has added a 2nd labor tub/pool so we don't have to worry about not getting one.  Ash labored with Emma in the tub until right before she delivered and we're hoping the same with TJ.
The next day we headed up to Park City for the afternoon and had a nice lunch and just enjoyed the day.  It looks like they won't be back until about 10 days before the due date unless there is any reason for them to come sooner, I sure hope they don't miss it.
