Yaaaaaa Great Day!!

We went for Ashley's first IVF check today and everything looked great!!!  We thought it looked not great as Ash has been taking Lupron to suppress her ovaries and she had 6 follicles growing, go figure, we never had that many follicles when we were TTC and now that we need to be suppressed she's uber producing. We spoke with the clinician at CFA and she said everything was good, they aren't worried about the follicles so we're a go so far.  Ash will start a couple more medications tomorrow and we go back next month for another check. It's crazy how close we're getting.

I also got a phone call from my son today.  I haven't heard from him since before Christmas so I was really needing to hear his voice.  Just hearing it soothes my soul enough that I can come to grips with him being in Afghanistan.  He just received a ton of packages that everyone has been sending him so he was very happy.  It must have seemed like Christmas to him.  He seemed to be in really good spirits, he didn't complain about anything except the cold.  He's managed to get frostbite on a few of his toes but he said the Dr said he'd be fine. If anyone is interested in a couple of amazing sites that do fabulous things for our deployed troops please check out www.anysoldier.com or www.operationquietcomfort.com or check out the facebook page for Operation Adopt a Ghost.  All three of these are amazing, operation quiet comfort sends donated handmade quilts, care packages, and cards to the wounded soldiers. If nothing else, please pray for the safety of our brave men and women serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
