It's been a quiet week, nothing new to report. Ash is feeling a bit better and I can once again cook a few things in the house. I've been busy making things for my etsy store. I've learned to make Coptic stitched journals so that's what I've been obsessed with the last week. I've made 2 so far and have 2 more in the works. I'll post pics as soon as I finish the 2 I have in the works. Ash made me a really cute wind chime out of old silverware and silver serving pieces, it's really cool.
In the next few weeks we'll be gearing up for canning. It becomes an every weekend thing in late summer. We usually do 4 or 5 kids of jam, tomatoes, and salsa. This year I'm adding in a spicy raspberry sauce that I've fallen in love with. It's sweet but spicy and a little smokey. It's amazing with cream cheese and crackers.

Ah! Fellow lesbian canner! Some might say it's a miracle! All of my gay and most of my straight friends cannot understand my obsession with canning. I don't understand why they don't understand it! I hope to see a post soon about your canning plans and the reasons that you do it.
